Surgical gowns and other apparel (masks, footwear, gloves) serve two purposes: 1. protecting patients from microorganisms carried by the surgical team or patients themselves, and 2. protecting healthcare providers from contact with infectious microorganisms harbored by the patient.
SMMS nonwoven fabrics are made form Polypropylene. There are four-layer, spunbond + meltblown + meltblown + spunbond nonwoven. SMMS material is very lightweight, but still reliably protects against bacteria and fluids. It ensures the circulation of air, heat and water vapour and reduces thermophysiological stress.
Surgical gowns are durable, soft, light, comfortable, abrasion and static electricity resistant. The Surgical gowns are air and vapor permeable, while resisting water fluid and aerosol.
