Product Overview

Wound dressings play an important role in the treatment of wounds, either by creating a favourable healing environment around the wound bed, protection from external contaminants, wound fixation, or sometimes - like the Quorit bioactive range of dressings- actively promoting wound healing.

But wound dressings can themselves, at times, become detrimental to the healing process. Lint, fibers, cotton and the like, from dressings and bandages can stick to the freshly generated or granulating tissue. This can cause damage to the healing tissue during dressing changes or removal, causing delay in healing and also cause pain to patient in the process.

QuoroMesh is a non-stick, non-pyrogenic, hypo-allergenic, low cost Wound Protection Mesh that prevents the dressing fiber from sticking to the wound, thus protecting the granulation tissue from damage during dressing change and promoting faster wound healing. It also reduces pain to the patient during dressing change.

QuoroMesh comes in a sterile pack to reduce the risk of infection during the dressing process.

Application Process:

Peel open sterile pouch and take out QuoroMesh
Place QuoroMesh on the wound (apply any antibiotic or other ointment/medication on the wound before placing QuoroMesh)
Apply primary/secondary dressing on top of QuoroMesh
QuoroMesh should be changed with the dressing during dressing change

For all kind of small and large area dressings.
Prevents adhesion of dressing fibers on wounds.
Protects granulating tissue from damage during dressing change
Facilitates almost painless removal of dressing during dressing change.
