Burn mesh is ideal for applications on large areas of burn during dressing. It is a PE mesh sheet that is used to cover the burn area before application of the dressing. This prevents the adherence of dressing fibres to the exposed tissue and facilitates easy and painless application and removal of dressings.
To apply burn mesh- Peel open the pouch and take out the burn Mesh with sterile gloved hands. Apply the Burn Mesh on the ointment. On the Burn Mesh apply the dressing cotton et. WARNING: Burn Mesh may stick on the wound if wound becomes dry.
Uses:
- For all kind of large area dressings.
- Prevents adhesion of dressing on wounds.
- Facilitates almost painless removal of dressing during dressing change.
