Regular wound assessment is critical in monitoring the healing of the wound, preventing complications and in limiting morbidity and mortality, especially for chronic wounds and burns. The size and dimensions of the wound over the healing process is one of the most important parameters that detemine how well the wound is healing over time.
To ensure proper monitoring, Quorit Wound Care hase developed QuoroGuide, a sterile, disposable wound measurement kit that contains everything you need to measure the size of the wound in a safe and precise manner.
QuoroGuide also comes with a free Wound Assessment Sheet, a specially designed sheet to assess healing of the wound over time, thereby giving clinicians early warnings for required interventions needed.
QuoroGuide contains
- Sterile paper scale to measure the length & width of the wound
- Sterile swabs to measure the depth of the wound
Both the scale and swabs have been designed to be soft so as to not damage the wound during the measurement process, which is a definite possibilty on using metal instruments for the purpose. The kit comes in a sterile to ensure infection prevention around the wound during the measurement process.
Quorit Wound Assessment Sheet contains various parameters that need to be monitored over the life of wound treatment including wound dimensions, colour of the wound, exudates, periwound area, odour, granulation, infection, etc in an easy to fill and monitor format.
