LED (light-emitting diode) light therapy is a non-invasive treatment that enters the skin’s layers to improve the skin. Phototherapy is treatment with a special type of light (not sunlight). It's sometimes used to treat newborn jaundice by making it easier for your baby's liver to break down and remove the bilirubin from your baby's blood. Phototherapy aims to expose your baby's skin to as much light as possible.
LED Phototherapy System: It is a new generation pediatric photo therapy unit, which is used to reduce the bilirubin count in neonate jaundice. The unit has the Blue LED strategically placed on the unit with a wavelength of 470nm. The unit is of high quality powder coated body. The Unit is highly safe for the neonate and is absolutely safe for the baby. The electrocution or any possibility of electric shock is zero as the unit is completely sealed. The unit consumes power of about 30 watts, which is far below than any other conventional photo therapy units.
