Drainage Catheters
- Thoracic drainage catheters are most suitable for post operative drainage following cardio-thoracic surgeries.
- Distal end is open with super smooth large eyes to maximise the drainage from the chest.
- Proximal end is fitted with specially designed tapered tongue to provide excellent forceps grip and non-traumatic insertion. The proximal end is fitted with a tapered connector for easy connection to a drainage bottle.
- Medium soft catheter, suitable for Intercostal drainage.
- Provided with dark green line for x-ray detection.
- The device has a flat handle which facilitates easy maneuverability.
- Catheters are marked at every 2 cm. from the last eye to ascertain the depth of placement. Markings are provided at 5, 10, 15 & 20 cm from the distal tip to help ascertain the depth of penetration.
- Packed with matching size spare connector which facilitates easy connection to drainage system.
- These are available in the sizes of 12FG, 16FG, 20FG, 24FG, 28FG, 32FG, 36FG
- Sterile, ready for use.
